Meet Anne!
Anne Mahoney is an experienced, independent leader running to return to the Quincy City Council At-Large. From 2006 to 2017, she served on the Quincy School Committee, and from 2018 to 2023, as a City Councilor At-Large. In both roles, Anne earned a reputation for standing up for taxpayers and families, asking tough questions, and never backing down when it came to doing what’s right. She believes Quincy needs strong, accountable leadership that puts residents—not political insiders—first.
Anne is also the fourth generation of her family to live in her West Quincy home. A proud graduate of Quincy Public Schools and Suffolk University, where she earned a degree in finance, Anne has built a career that spans both the public and private sectors. She currently serves as an Assistant Town Manager and previously held senior roles in strategic marketing for major institutions, gaining global business experience. In 1993, she founded Cyclone Design, Inc., a graphic design company once based in Quincy Center. Anne also served on the Quincy School Committee, where she advocated for students, educators, and families. She and her husband, Kevin, are the proud parents of three children—Maggie (30), Liam (28), and Rory (23)—all graduates of the Quincy Public Schools.
